VANS, VANS Baby

I love VANS not just because of its hip and cool designs but also for functionality. I bought another VANS slip on last Saturday though I'm not really planning to buy one. I just can't let it go it rarely happens that I will find my size I thought it's now or never.

Maybe it's a stroke of luck that I found a something original. I was looking for a VANS Classic red and black checkered slip on but couldn't find one that fits my kid shoe size. I scoured the mall but their smallest size is 6.

I like browsing VANS website for more cool designs.

EK Getaway

I'm finally home after an exhausting after-shift team building trip to Enchanted Kingdom held last Thursday with my former team.

I was recently transferred to another LOB (line of work) hence this is the last time that I will be with them. I will still see them in the office but not as often anymore after my schedule's changed. I guess it was some sort of promotion which is kinda strange because there's no salary increase, just more workload, and bragging rights because they say that agents who get transferred to that department are "performers" in their teams. Well, I'm not confident about that, yeah... whatever. I really don't care and as much as I'd like to stay with my batch mates I guess I have no choice but to move on to another team/department.

I had fun but did not sleep while on our way to EK. These guys were messing with each other the whole time inside the van like kids going on a field trip. When we arrived in EK we started taking pictures immediately and tried almost all the rides.

I like Space Shuttle among all the rides, it was breathtaking. I also enjoyed the Rio Grande we got all wet I didn't bring extra clothes because I'm not aware that it would be necessary since it's my first time there.

I was so tired after EK, I slept at my sister's pad I couldn't afford to travel back to Antipolo anymore. Twin sissy accompanied me to Fujifilm in Megamall earlier to have my EK pictures printed so I can add it to my scrapbook.

Some good things never last. I need to go back to work tomorrow night but I'll be on off again on Monday and Tuesday. Thank God.

Indie

My off starts today so I have to make the most out of it... if I could. I still have laundry to attend to and a pile of clothes to iron later nobody can take care of all these things but myself. I can't wait to get my salary tomorrow, yay.

I'm so bored at work since the internet lockdown especially during avail I just stare at my monitor and wait for my shift to end. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day which is a US holiday although it doesn't really matter because if you work in BPO companies you get to come to work even on holidays may it be a local or US holiday.

I'm satisfied with PLDT Vibe, our Internet works better compared to our previous ISP (Internet Service Providers) I hope it stays that way so I don't have to switch providers again.

No Internet, No Life

I was on leave for a week and got the shock of my life when I came back to work and found out that our Internet access in the office was blocked by our IT (information technology) department. We are restricted access to our most important tool/search engine, Google. We use Google a lot for research or to find additional information even if we have company provided resources because we find it more helpful, a lot.

I work in technical support btw and I understand that most employees including myself use it for non-work related stuff, to be honest, such as checking personal emails, online banking, etc. but they should've taken into account that employees use online simulators as an aid in troubleshooting Internet/email related customer concerns. We need access to simulators of different operating systems even client emails so we're sort of impaired with what the company did. It's like blind troubleshooting, to be honest. It's just not fair.

SSS ID Application

At last, I'm done with my SSS (social security system) ID application. Believe it or not, it only took me an hour unlike before, the process will take a day or two. Since they renovated their office, the service improved a lot too it was much faster than before. They also have more seats available and the air-conditioning system works so it's less stressful. I've given up twice applying for an SSS ID because I didn't have a good experience. The process before was quite tedious good thing a lot has changed since then.

I'm still playing "Rally Pro" on my phone when my name was called I wasn't even prepared I thought it'll take longer but of course I'm glad that my turn came sooner. I kinda hate the guy who took my picture from the ID section booth he asked me if I can take my nose stud off so I told him I couldn't. I had government ID pictures taken before but no one asked me to do that. I understand that maybe it's a protocol I'm just wondering how come they're not calibrated.

Mom saw my new TV and she liked it because the screen is quite big. I gave her my old TV so when they go back to Baguio she can put it in our bedroom.

Welcome to the World

I got home past 4 in the afternoon after a stroll in the mall with my sister. I'm supposed to buy a pair of sneakers but as expected the store didn't have my size I thought I'll just save the money maybe next time they'll have my size already.  I bought my friend a birthday gift from Marks and Spencer I hope she'll like it. I had a sleepover in my sister's apartment last night because I heard that our toy dog Harriet just gave birth to 2 bouncing puppies I got really excited of course since we haven't had puppies in a long time.

I'm so stuffed I feel like throwing up I don't know why I feel like this I just only ate a regular sized Tonkatsu meal and a large red tea at Tokyo Tokyo. I swear I'm not having dinner anymore unless I have a plan to kill myself. Burp.

New TweeVee

I bought a new sharp TV yesterday for a reasonable price from an appliance retail store here in Antipolo. I paid cash because the installment basis would cost more. I love my new TV, it's not the flat screen I've always wanted but it's a 21-inch screen. I think I deserve to buy something for myself since I've been working so hard. I guess I've been blessed so much this year. I didn't expect to get a bonus this early so I'm really thankful.

Happy Halloween

I've decorated our house with Christmas stuff so I can somehow feel the spirit because it's 8 more weeks to go and it's Christmas. Halloween should come first we have so many things going on in the office but I'm not that thrilled so I don't think I have to dress up 'coz I'm always feeling Halloween hehe.

I don't know who started associating Halloween with macabre and horror but whoever did it kudos to that person it makes everything more exciting and fun. On a serious note, we must not forget our dearly departed loved ones. I have nothing against the whole Halloween fun but hopefully, people will not forget the essence of All Soul's Day.

On that note, it's dressed down tonight, yay.

Rockstar Supernova + Boy Bawang

Ryan star of Rockstar Supernova

I got rid of my Live Space blog, I didn't enjoy what it has to offer I'm just not pleased with all the only reason I had it was because of "Rockstar Supernova" "Ryan Star. This blog site's hosting it as well as Ryan's personal blog. I didn't have any friends there just Ryan so I got really bored.

Boy B

Btw, I'm here to spread the news that "Boy Bawang" came out with new flavors. I've tried barbeque and adobo I liked both, way better than chili-cheese and garlic. It has this spicy bbq and salty-sweet adobo after taste that I really enjoyed a lot. It's still addicting as always.

Beyond Repair

I just got home tired. I went to Basement Salon at Shangri La Plaza to have my highlights fixed it got messed up recently. When I arrived at the Shang I am confident that they can fix my poor hair. Basement Salon is known for innovation even in the USA. They give color to boring hair and work it with celebrities. Let's say you want your hair blue-green or red or whatever, they can transform it to your liking. They're experts when it comes to funky hairstyles/color.

Unfortunately, my highlights are beyond repair so the blue color I want did not happen. I'm a bit disappointed, to be honest much more the stylist whose name is Jen. She apologized for my wasted time and for not getting the service I wanted. I really appreciate Jen's professionalism she didn't charge me for anything. I was supposedly paying Php3400 for everything, I know it's really expensive but I'm willing to spend that much would you believe it? Jen even offered to give me a better service when I come back. It's really not her fault that she can't fix the damage but lesson learned, never leave your hair to a non-expert. Before we parted I asked for her business card because that kind of customer service is something that I will be more than happy to recommend to other people. Okay, so my hair didn't come out blue but at least I walked out of the salon with a smile on my face not just because I got free service but for the excellent customer service experience. If you drop by at Basement salon at the Shang, make sure to look for Jen Leung to make sure that you're in good hands.

I remember two days ago I got a commendation from a customer who was so satisfied with the customer service I had given him over the phone. It was a simple Internet connection problem that requires basic troubleshooting. He was so pleased that he requested to talk to a supervisor so I let him speak with my Team Leader. Bottom line is that we are all customers and as customers, we all aim for satisfaction.

Hair Gone Bad

I was totally disappointed with what happened today. I went to "F" Salon for highlights and waited two and a half hours just to have my time wasted.

I've always wanted a violet highlights. Last month I went to Reyes Salon for violet highlights but they offered me the color red since that was the only color available. I said why not? I've never tried red. This time I really want violet but to my dismay, the highlights did not come out at all yet they charged me Php500 the lady receptionist/cashier insisted that 500 is the minimum charge for bleaching and coloring she even made me believe that's already discounted it's suppose to be 650. I insisted on paying 500 for not getting the service I wanted, period.

I'm not a difficult customer but the person who assisted me is obviously not knowledgable enough they should've assigned someone else who knows what he was doing. If my hair was bleached then the color should've come out given that the proper wait time was followed. My point is, if they're not confident that they can deliver then they should've referred me to another salon and not charge me to compensate for my precious time wasted.

Isn't it that "the customer is always right?" I'm never coming back to "F" Salon, they have the poorest customer ever.
