Wind Of Change

I left my job. I'd like to give myself a break, well at least for a month until I squared away eveything that I need from the ex-company that I worked for 3 years before I throw myself back to the jungle where I was 4 years ago. I left Manila for Singapore then settled up north to escape the crowded life that I was accustomed to. I guess nothing in this world is permanent but change. I thought I would stay here for good since my mom passed away 2 years ago. The weather is cold and life is calm here but it felt empty inside no matter how hard I convince myself that everything will be alright. I miss the life that I had back then when I could afford a lot of things that I want, even the things that I don't need, but I'm still empty. I guess there is no such thing as a perfect life. If I had a chance to change things and fix them I would, but life is a neverending learning process. As long as you live, you learn. I have better plans and hopefully it will all work out for the best. Everything happens for a reason. I think the wind of change wants me back to where I was because it is telling me that there is no escaping this life, there is no such thing. You can run away but you will always come back to where you're from. Life is a maze so deal with it. For now, I'll take a time off and not worry about waking up during the wee hours of the morning, shut my alarm clock off, sleep more and spend some quality time with my family and pets. I deserve a break, totally.

Confused As The Weather

It's supposed to rain today right? I'm not really complaining you know. I'm just a little confused with the weather lately, that's all. My parents paid a visit to see how I and sissy are doing and brought us some fresh porridge (yum!) but I just ate so I'll have it for later.

Hopefully, we'll get our wifi installed today we've been waiting for a week, darn. It's my niece's second day in nursery thank God she didn't cry yesterday so she did today, lol. I heard she doesn't want to join their morning exercise that's why she cried so I'm like, really? I think I'm just a cool aunt who doesn't want to interfere with kids way of expressing themselves nowadays. 

So, I'll be home all day I guess I have to make the most of my rest day. 

Bummer.

    

Random Thoughts

I love the weather today and hopefully no LPA (low pressure area) forecast for the week. C'mon, it's almost summer and it's still raining? No way. I need the cold in evening and early morning but warmth for the rest of the day so I can hang my clothes to dry if not, that's going to be really disappointing. 

Mmm... I bet our neighbor's cooking something delicious today it smells sooo good I'm like a vampire right now going frenzy over the smell of blood.

My new addiction is Zentea. I'm addicted to it I swear I'll try all their newest flavors when my sore throat is gone. 

I'm getting sick of my job it's so getting into my nerves and I need to do something to kill the stress a bit I decided to add some more highlights to my hair thanks to David Salon for being creative. 

God no earthquake please, please. 

I think I'm going crazy.

H2O

I love the cool morning breeze. It's so darn hard to get out of bed these days. I've been drinking plenty of water and tea because according to my own research that that "hydrotherapy" is a good way to treat common colds. It flushes out the system and removes the toxins that cause disease. 


Doctors recommend drinking 6-8 glasses of water a day. I tend to neglect that especially if I don't have colds, I would rather drink soda or coffee. Oh well, I guess I have no choice but to drink coffee before I go to work since I work at night, to keep me awake. 


My parents are in Antipolo. They complain that it's twice colder than in Baguio and I'm like really? Who wouldn't get sick of the drastic weather change? I've never experienced this kind of cold in Manila it's almost like Baguio, in fact, we don't turn on the ac or electric fan anymore would you believe it? I can't help but reminisce when we were kids we dip "pandesal" over hot coffee or Milo... I miss the taste of good ol' pandesal. 


I envy my sister's pay she had me check it online she definitely will enjoy her tax refund whilst I don't get one for submitting my 2316 darn it. Well, that's life, she deserved it anyway.

No Umbrella

When I arrived from work this morning, I told myself that I'll bring a small bag so I can bring an umbrella in case it rains this afternoon. My bag is ready to go but after a power nap, I woke up and changed my mind. I decided not to bring an umbrella.

The weather was good when I left the house, the sun was up I was in a hurry to catch an FX because It feels like I'm melting already. It took me just an hour or two to buy all the stuff that I needed I was in a hurry so I chose an FX that's ready to leave just to get squeezed inside when a big guy sat in the middle of everyone. I was literally screaming inside I'd like to transfer to another FX but I'm left with no choice I have to be home early so I have more time to rest and sleep. All hell broke loose when the rain poured heavily just while I'm about to get off the fx. Can this day get any worst? I told myself. After a sunny day here comes the storm! How odd. I can't run in the rain so I had to stop at a nearby store, video shop, Jollibee, Mc Donalds, and a waffle store even if the apartment is literally a few steps away. It took me an hour to get home, would you believe it? I was soaking wet and mad like hell imagine how a sudden change of mind and weather ruined my day.
